We redesigned Kala Kokua’s website around one primary goal: making fundraising easier for both organizations and their supporters.
The new website guides visitors through every stage of the fundraising journey—from learning about fundraising options to submitting applications, browsing products, and purchasing through active fundraising campaigns. Clear navigation and strategic calls to action help schools and community organizations quickly understand which fundraising program best fits their needs.
We also organized Kala Kokua’s fundraising options into easy-to-understand pathways, explaining the differences between traditional presale fundraisers and online fundraising campaigns. This allows organization leaders to confidently choose the right solution while reducing confusion throughout the planning process.
To encourage donations and purchases, we designed product pages that showcase Hawaiʻi favorites—including smoked meats, Portuguese sausage, kalua pork, lau lau, and taro pancake mix—in a way that feels familiar, appealing, and easy to shop.
Trust was reinforced throughout the experience by highlighting Kala Kokua’s long-standing reputation, customer support, FAQs, and commitment to serving Hawaiʻi communities.
The result is a modern fundraising website that helps organizations launch campaigns faster, gives supporters a seamless online purchasing experience, and positions Kala Kokua as Hawaiʻi’s trusted fundraising partner.
