Challenge

Kala Kokua is a Hawaiʻi-based fundraising company that helps schools, PTOs/PTAs, booster groups, sports teams, churches, clubs, and nonprofits raise money through popular local products. Since 2005, they have earned trust through word of mouth, sincere customer service, and easy-to-manage fundraising programs.

The website needed to clearly explain this value while supporting different users, from organization leaders planning fundraisers to families placing orders. It also had to make a complex process feel simple by organizing product details, order forms, online sales, deadlines, pickup information, and approvals in a clear and trustworthy way.

Another key challenge was presenting Kala Kokua’s fundraising options for both small groups and larger schoolwide events. The site needed to explain presale and online fundraisers, help organizations choose the right approach, and support campaign pages where customers could order with confidence.
Solution

We created a website focused on clarity, convenience, and community support. The site presents Kala Kokua as Hawaiʻi’s trusted island fundraiser while making it easy for organizations to learn about programs, view products, start a fundraiser, access active campaigns, and contact the team.

We organized the content around key user needs, with clear calls to action, helpful product information, FAQs, and a more direct fundraiser application process. The site also explains both presale and online fundraising options so groups can choose the best fit for their goals.

Local product presentation was also improved, showcasing island favorites in a familiar and appealing way while allowing flexibility for updates. Trust-building content, customer support details, safety information, and Kala Kokua’s experience since 2005 help create a practical platform that supports Hawaiʻi schools and community groups more efficiently.
